FETE & DOG SHOW
The Fete was opened in 2019 by Ray Jenkins. Unfortunately the weather was dreadful so pictures below are from the 2018 Dog Show which was also not great weather-wise but better than 2019! So the picture above is from the 2017 Dog Show. It is usually a wonderful day out for all the family. You will find a cup of tea/coffee in the village hall and an array of home made cakes thanks to Brenda & Co. There are many activities and games like the Coconut Shy, Wellie Throwing, Pony rides, Face Painting, as well as lots of stalls. There is a Dog Show so bring along your pooch! If your tipple is something stronger you will find the team from The Bell Inn. If BBQ food is more to your liking than cake you will find this too, along with an ice cream. Music is provided by Martin and the whole event has a lovely atmosphere. There is also a very popular raffle. To speed things up on the day, Angela Davies, who runs the Dog Show, would appreciate entries in advance to save time on the day. Entry forms will be available in the in Chittle Chatter Stores.
It takes a great deal of effort to set up the Fete and new helpers are always very welcome.
